Práce se zabývá pojmem "reprezentace historika" na příkladu československé historiografie první poloviny 20. století. Pro její porozumění je důležité její východisko z bakalářské práce, která se zabývala reprezentací historika v Kulturním adresáři Antonína Dolenského na základě kvantitativní analýzy. Diplomová práce je antropologizováním téhož problému ve smyslu zdůraznění mnohosti reprezentací a jejich nezávislosti na obvyklém makroskopickém pohledu na československou historiografii. Tuto perspektivu mi umožnila volba materiálu, kterým jsou texty tří historiků - spolužáků, kteří společně studovali obor historie - geografie na Filozofické fakultě Univerzity Karlovy, nicméně jejich kariéry se posléze odvíjely odlišnými směry. Jsou to Fridolín Macháček spojený celým svým profesním životem s Plzní a jejím archivem, Josef Pešek profesor Akademického gymnázia v Praze a regionální historik východních Čech a v neposlední řadě Václav Chaloupecký archivář v Roudnici nad Labem, profesor československých dějin na univerzitě v Bratislavě a posléze i v Praze. Výhodou takto zvolené pramenné základny je možnost zaměřit se na samotný pojem "reprezentace historika" jako výsledek procesu symbolické komunikace mezi historikem a jeho čtenáři. Výsledkem práce tak je konstrukce vnitřní struktury tohoto pojmu, založená... The thesis is dealing with the term "representation of historian" on the example of czechoslovakian historiography of the first half of twentieth century. For understanding of this work is important the context of my bachelor thesis, which dealed with the same problem using quantitative approaches on Kulturní adresář (Culture adressary) written by Antonín Dolenský. This thesis is an antropologization of the same issue in the meaning og underscoring the multiplicity of representations and its independence on the macroperspective of usual interpretations of czechoslovakian historiography. This perspective is enabled by choosen sources, which are texts of three historians - schoolmates, who studied together field of study history - geography on the Faculty of arts of Charles university. But their careers had differnt ways. Fridolín Macháček was during his whole professional life connected with Plzeň and its archive, Josef Pešek was teacher on high school in Prague (Akademické gymnázium) and historian of east bohemia and last but not least Václav Chaloupecký archivist in Roudnice nad Labem, professor of czekoslovakian history at university in Bratislava and than in Prague.
