Práce se zabývá seznamováním a hledáním partnerských vztahů pomocí nových technologií. Hlavním cílem je ukázat vliv nových médií na výběr partnera a především popsat průběh novodobějšího způsobu seznamování v české společnosti, kterým je speed dating. Takzvaná zprostředkovaná seznamování - on-line seznamovací portály a speed dating - jsou posuzována ve vzájemné komparaci. Výzkumná část práce je založena na analýze seznamovacích portálů a agentur zprostředkujících seznamování. KLÍČOVÁ SLOVA: speed dating, on-line seznamovací portály, zprostředkované seznámení, výběr partnera, sňatkový trh The paper deals with the issue of getting acquainted and looking for a partnership with the aid of new technologies. The main goal is to show the impact of new media on the mate selection and, above all, to describe the course of a particular way of getting acquainted which is new to the Czech society, that is speed dating. The so-called mediated dating services - online dating portals and speed dating - are assessed in a comparative way.
