Citlivosti vůči odmítnutí je tendence úzkostně nebo zlostně očekávat, snadno vnímat a následně přehnaně reagovat na odmítnutí v interpersonálních vztazích (Downey & Feldman, 1996). Tato diplomová práce zkoumala potenciální souvislosti mezi citlivostí vůči odmítnutí a partnerskými vztahy u dospělé populace. Předpokládala jsem, že citlivost vůči odmítnutí bude negativně ovlivňovat vnímanou kvalitu partnerského vztahu, zahrnující tyto vztahové faktory: životnost, intimita, vášeň, péče, spokojenost, konflikty, udržování vztahu a závazek. Výzkumu se účastnilo 296 respondentů (tj. 148 párů), kteří individuálně vyplnili Škálu citlivosti vůči odmítnutí a Formulář hodnocení vztahu (oba nástroje užity v českém překladu). Na základě individuální analýzy všech respondentů (tj. celého vzorku) byla zjištěna nejvýznamnější negativní souvislost s faktorem životnosti a faktorem péče. Dále také nízká negativní korelace citlivosti vůči odmítnutí s faktorem spokojenosti a faktorem závazku. Na úrovni zkoumaných párů nebyl potvrzen ani jeden statisticky významný výsledek. Přestože hypotézy ohledně vlivu citlivosti vůči odmítnutí na partnerský vztah byly potvrzeny pouze u jednotlivců a ne u jednotlivých párů, studie svědčí o další hodnotě zkoumání souvislosti mezi těmito proměnnými. Sensitivity to rejection is a tendency to anxiously or angrily expect, readily perceive, and then overreact to rejection in interpersonal relationships (Downey & Feldman, 1996). This thesis examined the potential associations between rejection sensitivity and romantic relationships in an adult population. I hypothesized that rejection sensitivity will negatively influence perceived quality of romantic relationship, including these relational factors: viability, intimacy, passion, care, satisfaction, conflict, maintenance and commitment. In the research participated 296 respondents (i.e. 148 couples), which individually completed Sensitivity to rejection scale and Relationship rating form (both measures used in Czech translation). On the basis of individual analysis of all respondents (i.e. the whole sample) were found most significant negative correlations with the viability factor and care factor. Furthermore, also the low negative correlation between sensitivity to rejection and satisfaction and commitment factors. At the level of couples were not confirmed either one statistically significant result.
