S předměty ochrany autorského práva se denně setkáváme, v dnešní digitální době s nimi často pracujeme a používáme je k různým účelům. Nedostatek vědomostí o úpravě autorských práv však může často vést ke komplikacím, sankcím a někdy končí až u soudu. Cílem práce je popsat úpravu autorského práva v České republice. Hlavní části této práce mají za úkol popsat vývoj právní úpravy autorského práva (zejména 20. století) na českém území, včetně mezinárodních úmluv, které vnitrostátní úpravu ovlivnily a popsat současnou úpravu autorského práva. Konkrétně se věnuje dílu a autoru, autorským právům a výjimkám a omezením těchto práv, právům souvisejícím s autorskými právy a kolektivní správě práv. Při plnění obou těchto cílů vycházím z právních předpisů a odborných publikací na dané téma. Dílčím cílem této práce je poukázání na problematiku autorskoprávní regulace obsahů chráněných autorským právem sdílených na Internetu, kde vycházím z prací uznávaných profesorů, kteří se roky zaměřují na tuto problematiku. Práce se zmiňuje o licencích Creative Commons a o myšlence změnění přístupu médií k dosud silně prosazované autorskoprávní regulaci a přizpůsobení se této digitální době. In this digital age we meet copyrighted contents on a daily basis and we often work with them and use them for different purposes. Lack of knowledge about the copyright legislation may often lead to complications, sanctions and sometimes may end up at court. The aim of this thesis is to describe the legislation of copyright in the Czech Republic. Main parts of this thesis are supposed to describe the development of copyright legislation (mainly twentieth century), including international treaties, which have influenced the copyright legislation and also to describe the current copyright legislation in the Czech Republic. Particularly with focus on author's work, author, copyright, exceptions and limitations to copyright, rights related to copyright and collective management of rights. For the purpose of both aims I have just described I have used the official legislation and appropriate publications about the topic. Another aim of this thesis is to mention the problematics of copyright regulation of copyrighted contents shared through the Internet, where I have used works of recognized professors, who had been focusing on this topic for years. Thesis also mentions Creative Commons licenses and an oppinion of a possible change of the apporach of media to the strongly promoted copyright regulation...
