[cze][eng] Demografické a sociální charakteristiky imigrantů do USA Abstrakt Cílem této práce je popsat sociální, ekonomické a demografické charakteristiky imigrantů v USA. V první části práce je nastíněna historie imigrace a imigrační politika USA. V praktické části jsou skrze demografickou analýzu plodnosti, úmrtnosti a analýzy socioekonomických vlastností imigrantů popisovány charakteristiky populace narozené mimo USA. Ve sledovaném období vykazovala populace odlišné demografické chování než nativní populace USA. Imigranti měli vyšší obecné míry plodnost, nižší standardizované míry úmrtnosti a vyšší naději dožití při narození. V rámci sociálních charakteristik je analyzováno více ukazatelů populace imigrantů, které se liší nejen v porovnání s nativním obyvatelstvem, ale i uvnitř přistěhovalecké populace, obvykle podle země původu a získaného občanství. Klíčová slova: USA, populace imigrantů, sociální charakteristiky, demografické charakteristikyDemographic and social characteristics of immigrants to the USA Abstract The aim of this thesis is to describe the social, economic and demographic characteristics of Immigrants to the USA. The first part outlines the history of immigration and immigration policy in the USA. In the practical part, there are described characteristics of the population born outside the USA throught demographic analysis of fertility, mortality and socio-economic characteristics of immigrants. In the reporting period the population had different demographic behavior than the native population of the United States. Immigrants had higher level of fertility, lower age-standardized mortality rates are and higher life expectancy at birth. Within the social characteristics is analyzed more indicators of immigrant population, which differ not only in comparison with the native population, but also within the immigrant population, usually determined by country of origin and obtained citizenship.
