Práce "Vztahy mezi SSSR a USA v Televizních novinách Československé televize v roce 1981 na příkladu Salvadoru" se zabývá analýzou americko-sovětských vztahů v hlavní zpravodajské relaci Televizní noviny Československé televize v roce 1981, a to na příkladu konfliktu v Salvadoru. Zároveň popisuje atmosféru vztahů na začátku 80. let dvou supervelmocí v průběhu studené války. V teoretické části přibližuje legislativní opatření spojená s totalitní mocí v Československé socialistické republice, představuje základní terminologii zpravodajství a otevírá otázku manipulace v médiích. Okrajově také přibližuje vztahy mezi SSSR a USA od konce 70. let až do začátku prvního funkčního období Ronalda Reagana a změnu politiky vůči Sovětskému svazu po odchodu Jimmyho Cartera z úřadu. Praktická část pak sleduje vývoj americko-sovětských vztahů v průběhu celého roku 1981, jak jej reflektoval pořad Televizní noviny - čtvrtletně seznamuje se zásadními událostmi, jednáními a pomocí obsahové analýzy interpretuje význam totalitního zpravodajství na příkladu salvadorské občanské války a dalších politických meznících daného období. Cílem práce je představit komunistickou propagandu uplatňovanou v předním československém médiu, a otevřít tak otázky manipulace v médiích, vlivu a odkazu, jaké nese do dnešní doby. The bachelor thesis "The US-Soviet relations in the "Television newscast" of Czechoslovak Television on the example of El Salvador in 1981" analyzes the US-Soviet relations in the main news program of Czechoslovak Television (CST) in 1981, on the example of the conflict in El Salvador. It also describes the early-80's atmosphere of relations between the two "superpowers" during the Cold War. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the legislative measures which were dependent on the totalitarian regime in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic (CSSR); it introduces the basic terminology of a news service and raises the question of media manipulation. It also secondary describes the US-Soviet relations from the late 70's until the beginning of the first term of Ronald Reagan as a president, and the change in policy towards to the Soviet Union (SSSR) after the end of Jimmy Carter in the Office of President. The practical part of this thesis describes the development of US-Soviet relations during the year 1981, as it was reflected in the main news program the "Television newscast" - quarterly introduces the major events, political meetings and using content analysis to interpret the meaning of the totalitarian news service on the examples of El Salvador's civil war and on the other political...
