Autorka se rozhodla vymyslet cvičební hodiny muzikoterapie pro neslyšící a nedoslýchavé děti ve věku 13-17 let na Základní škole Holečkova. Jejím motivem bylo zjistit, zda neslyšící adolescenti mají zájem o muzikoterapii a jestli jim je schopná dát víc, než trávit čas volně mimo učební hodinu. Práce začíná specifikací skupiny dětí, se kterou autorka práce pracovala. Vzhledem k tomu, že mezi dětmi byl velký věkový rozdíl, bylo nutné popsat rozmezí obou skupin, ze kterých se ve vývoji mládeže přechází. Pro bližší poznání neslyšících (jejich kultury, charakteru chování a potřeb) je popsána úzká a široká kultura. Obě jsou podle autorky nutné znát, k ucelení pohledu na svět neslyšících. Dále je pozvolna navazováno na téma "neslyšící a jejich vztah k hudbě", které střídá kapitola věnovaná muzikoterapii. Poslední částí práce je podrobný popis jednotlivých cvičení, která posloužila jako materiál k závěrečnému zhodnocení práce, zda se zdařila, nebo byla odmítnuta jako nepotřebná. Her motive was to determine whether deaf adolescents are interested in music therapy, and if they are able to give more than to spend free time outside of the classroom hour. The work begins by grouping children with whom the author worked. Given that the child was a big difference, it was necessary to describe the range of the two groups from which the development of youth passes. For further understanding of the Deaf (their culture, character and behavior needs) is described narrow and broad culture.
