Bakalářská práce je věnována poddanskému městu Vimperku v pozdním středověku a zachycení jeho politické, hospodářské a sociální situace ve světle dochovaných pramenů. Důraz je při tom kladen především na 2. polovinu 15. století a první tři dekády 16. století. Z této doby pochází hlavní pramen, o který se práce opírá - vimperská pamětní kniha (1479- 1670). Pozornost je kromě toho věnována i vimperské vrchnosti, jejíž činy a postoje měly nezřídka dopad i na město. Po celé 15. století držel Vimperk rod Kaplířů ze Sulevic, kterému je proto věnován největší prostor. Vimperk byl také koncovým městem jedné z větví Zlaté stezky, z čehož profitovalo jak město, tak především jeho vrchnost. V závěru práce je proto stručně pojednána problematika Zlaté stezky a dalších obchodních cest ve vztahu k Vimperku a jeho vrchnosti. Klíčová slova: Vimperk - poddanské město - pozdní středověk - městská kniha - privilegia - Kaplířové ze Sulevic - Malovcové z Chýnova This bachelor thesis inquires into the political, economic and social situation of the liege town Vimperk in the Late Middle Ages by means of examination of the preserved sources. The attention is paid especially to the second half of the fifteenth century and the first three decades of the sixteenth century. The thesis is based on the municipal book of the town Vimperk which captures the situation in the town between the years 1479 and 1670. This thesis also deals with the suzerain of Vimperk. Their actions and attitudes had often impact on the town. For the whole 15th century Vimperk was controled by Kaplirzs of Sulevice. That is why a significant part of one chapter of this thesis deal with them. In Vimperk there ended one of the branches of the Golden Route which meant profit for both the town and the suzerain. Due to this fact, the final part of the thesis discusses the issue of the Golden Route and another trade roades which were in the surroundings of the town and influenced the situation of Vimperk.
