Tématem této rigorózní práce je "Skončení pracovního poměru ze strany zaměstnavatele". V rámci této práce jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy související s řešenou problematikou, zejména pak pojmy "pracovní poměr" a "skončení pracovního poměru", jakož i historický vývoj řešené problematiky. V dalších pasážích se pak práce zaměřuje na jednotlivé způsoby skončení pracovního poměru ze strany zaměstnavatele. Kromě institutů výpovědi ze strany zaměstnavatele, okamžitého zrušení pracovního poměru ze strany zaměstnavatele a zrušení pracovního poměru ve zkušební době ze strany zaměstnavatele, je rozebrána také dohoda o skončení pracovního poměru. Své místo v této práci zaujímají rovněž další instituty související se skončením pracovního poměru, například odstupné či konkurenční doložka. Značná pozornost je pak věnována náhledu do aplikační praxe, což úzce souvisí s bohatými odkazy na judikaturu českých soudů. Autor jednotlivé části navíc doplňuje o své vlastní náměty z pohledu de lege ferenda. This thesis is focused on the topic "Termination of employment by the employer". In this work there are primarily explained the basic terms connected to the issue, particularly "the employment relationship" and "the termination of employment", as well as the history of the discussed topic. Further on the thesis focuses on particular manners of terminating an employment by the employer. Aside from the employer's notice, immediate termination of employment by the employer and the termination of employment by the employer during the probationary period, the work also includes an analysis of the employment termination agreement. Also other institutes connected to the termination of employment by the employer take place in this thesis, such as redundancy payment or competition clause. A considerable attention is given to the professional practice which is closely connected to the Czech court practice references. In addition, the author adds his own de lege ferenda suggestions to the particular chapters.
