v českém jazyce Cílem této diplomové práce bylo zmapovat tvorbu současného španělského tlumočníka a historika tlumočení, Jesúse Baigorriho Jalóna. Provedli jsme souhrnnou analýzu jeho díla, kterou jsme doplnili o recepci jeho dvou stěžejních publikací. V úvodní části práce jsme se zaměřili na autorova metodologická východiska a zařazení jeho osobnosti do českého i španělského akademického kontextu. Poté jsme detailně zpracovali autorovu biografii a jeho působení na akademické půdě. Následně jsme podali celistvý, chronologicky zpracovaný přehled dvou autorových monografií a tematicky zpracovali soubor studií, které v průběhu své akademické kariéry sepsal. Soustředili jsme se také na autorův přínos translatologii a na oblasti výzkumu a metodologické směry, v nichž by mohl být inspirací českým badatelům. The central focus of this Master's thesis was to provide a concise overview of the academic work of the contemporary Spanish interpreter and interpreting historian, Jesús Baigorri Jalón. We carried out an in-depth analysis of his work, accompanied by the critical reception of his two key publications. In the introductory part of our thesis, we focused on the author's methodology and placement in Spanish and Czech academic contexts. Then, we elaborated a comprehensive, chronological overview of the author's two main monographs and outlined the main topics discussed in Baigorri's studies. We also focused on the author's contribution to the translation and interpreting studies, his research methodology and its potential to serve as an inspiration to Czech researchers.
