Prokrastinace, čili chorobné odkládání, je fenomén, který je v dnešní době v laické společnosti i odborné sféře často skloňován. Existuje řada výzkumů, zaměřujících se na souvislosti prokrastinace s jinými jevy, chybí ale výzkum, zaměřující se na možné souvislosti mezi prokrastinací a závislostmi. Právě to je tématem této práce. Teoretická část práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních kapitol. První kapitola představuje fenomén prokrastinace. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na závislost a závislostní chování. Třetí, komparační kapitola, má za úkol srovnat prokrastinaci se závislostmi a najít souvislosti mezi těmito dvěma jevy. Praktická část má za cíl popsat prevalenci výskytu prokrastinace a různých druhů závislostí ve vzorku studentů a potvrdit či vyvrátit hypotézu o možném vztahu mezi těmito jevy. Data byla získávána pomocí kvantitativního výzkumu formou dotazníků sbíraných prostřednictvím internetu. Elektronický výzkumný soubor byl ve výsledku tvořen 252 studenty. Za předpokladu, že se za prokrastinátory považují pouze střední a těžcí prokrastinátoři (dle Layovy škály prokrastinace), podíl prokrastinátorů je 70,2 % a neprokrastinátorů 29,8 %. Výskyt rizikového pití alkoholu je ve vzorku 27%, ohroženo závislostí je 15,1 % studentů a pravděpodobně závislých je 6 % studentů. Na nikotinu jsou závislá 2 %... Procrastination is a phenomenon which is common in today's society and is recognised within the professional field. There are many studies focusing on links between procrastination and other behaviour factors, but it is lacking research. Focusing on the links between procrastination and addiction is the main topic of this work. The theoretical part is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter introduces the phenomenon of procrastination. The second chapter focuses on addiction and addictive behaviour. The third is the comparative chapter which will show things in common with procrastination and addictions. The practical part describes the prevalence of different types of procrastination and addiction in a number of students to confirm or disprove the theory of a possible relationship between these phenomena. Data was collected using quantitative research through questionnaires collected over the internet. The electronic data research was the result of a study over 252 students. Assuming that levels of procrastination are considered as "medium" and "heavy" (by Lay's procrastination scale) the figures show that 70.2% are classed as procrastinators, and 29.8% are classed as non-procrastinators.
