Tato práce zkoumá fyzické, duševní a sexuální změny u žen na začátku užívání nebo po vysazení kombinované hormonální antikoncepce, a to formou rozhovorů se 30 ženami, které během minulých 2 let, minimálně pak před 3 měsíci, buď vysadily, nebo začaly opětovně užívat kombinovanou hormonální antikoncepci. Polostrukturované rozhovory byly doplněny škálou 16 symptomů, na které ženy odhadovaly výsledky imaginární studie týkající se vedlejších účinků hormonální antikoncepce. Obě metody shodně prokázaly výrazný účinek kombinované hormonální antikoncepce na snížení sexuální apetence a bolestivé menstruace. Žádná jednoznačná změna nebyla zjištěna v případě psychických symptomů, avšak kvalitativní analýza některé možné změny naznačila. Aby bylo možno testovat následné hypotézy, je třeba dalšího výzkumu. The study investigates physical, mental and sexual changes in women at the beginning of use or after discontinuation of a combined hormonal contraception. Thirty women were interviewed at least 3 months and at most 2 years after the start of use or discontinuation of combined hormonal contraception. Semi-structured interviews were supplemented by 16- symptom rating scale on which women assessed the results of an imaginary study of side effects of hormonal contraception. Both methods identically demonstrated pronounced effect of combined hormonal contraception on decline in sexual desire and painful menstruation. No clear difference was found in psychical symptoms, although qualitative analysis indicated possible changes. Further research is needed to test subsequent hypothesis.
