Abstrakt: [cze][eng] Hluk a vibrace patří mezi zdroje ohrožení životního prostředí, mohou způsobit trvalé poškození lidského zdraví a je tedy nutné je právně regulovat. Ochrana je poskytována předpisy mezinárodního i vnitrostátního práva. Nejvýznamněji českou úpravu ovlivňují normy vydávané Evropskou unií. Základem vnitrostátní veřejnoprávní úpravy je zákon o ochraně veřejného zdraví a nařízení vlády č. 272/2011, které určuje nejvyšší přípustné limity hluku a vibrací. Soukromoprávní ochrana je soustředěna do nástrojů občanského zákoníku. Mnohé změny v této oblasti přináší tzv. nový občanský zákoník.Noise and vibrations belong under the sources of endangerment of the environment and can cause permanent damage of human health therefore it is necessary to legally control them.
