Cílem mé diplomové práce je tedy poskytnout učitelům materiál, jenž odpovídá požadavkům moderního vyučování, který mohou během své přípravy na výuku i v průběhu hodin využít.v anglickém jazyce In my thesis on Totalitarianism (taught through fiction as a theme of social sciences education) procedures and methods are described, which can work with this theme in an interactive way. The first part is devoted to the theory that the teacher must be an expert in his or her field in order to teach the subject - the definition of the term, its main features, and the general characteristics of the different views of experts on this phenomenon. The second part is devoted to the six selected books which are briefly described and where I search for signs of totality - in my thesis I propose to use fiction and through it familiarize students with totalitarian regimes in world literature. In the third part of the thesis I present the procedures and methods of using the Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking. I consider this material to correspond to the intention of my work and to be very effective. The aim of my thesis is to provide teachers with material that meets the requirements of modern education, which thy can use during their preparation for teaching in their classes.
