Hlavním tématem této práce je filosofie výchovy ve starověké Číně a starověkém Řecku. Jedná se o ontologické a gnozeologické srovnání filosofického díla Tao-te-t'ing, jehož autorství je přisuzováno mudrci Laotzimu, a filosofie výchovy Platóna, především jeho díla Ústava. Práce se snaží předestřít dva úhly pohledu na pojetí člověka, na jeho místo v celku světa a z toho vycházející mravní ponaučení neboli výchovu. Metodou srovnání se práce snaží klást vedle sebe dvě učení vycházející z odlišných kulturních prostředí. Ve třetí srovnávací části této práce se autor snaží čtenáři nabídnout analogie a různice obou těchto filosofií. Srovnání tak nabízí úvahy nad společnými charakteristikami starověkých filosoficky orientovaných děl, neboli úvahy nad tím jak tito starověcí myslitelé chápali člověka a jeho roli v řádu přírody. Klíčová slova: Laotzi, Platón, mezikulturní dialog, filosofie výchovy The main topic of this thesis is the philosophy of education in the ancient China and ancient Greece. It deals with the onthological and gnoseological comparation between the Tao-Te-Ting whose authorship is ascribed to the wise man Lao-C, and the Plato`s philosophy of education, mainly his Constitution. The thesis tries to outline two main points of view on the concept of a human being, on its position in the world and the moral lesson or education derived from it. The thesis tries to put two doctrines rooted in two different cultural backgrounds next to each other and compare them.
