Diplomová práce se věnuje negativním důsledkům abúzu alkoholu v těhotenství na raný psychický vývoj dítěte. Mapuje problematické oblasti vývoje dětí, které byly prenatálně vystaveny působení alkoholu. Teoretický přehled klíčových informací z oblasti fetálního alkoholového syndromu je doplněn o kvalitativní empirickou část, která zahrnuje čtyři kazuistiky dětí ve věku 6-72 týdnů, jejichž matky užívaly alkohol v průběhu těhotenství. Ve vývoji těchto dětí se objevují různé problematické oblasti, zejména růstový deficit, opožděný psychomotorický vývoj (zvláště v oblasti řeči, hrubé motoriky a sociálního chování), poruchy pozornosti a poruchy s příjmem potravy. Tyto projevy odpovídají kategoriím uváděným v odborné literatuře, ale u každého dítěte se projevují v různé míře a četnosti. Klíčová slova: alkohol, fetální alkoholový syndrom, spektrum vrozených alkoholových poruch, raný psychomotorický vývoj The thesis devotes to the negative effects of alcohol abuse during pregnancy on early psychical development of the child. It surveys the problematic fields of development of the children who were prenatally exposed to alcohol. The theoretical survey is accompanied by qualitative empirical part, which contains four case studies of children in the age of 6 - 72 weeks whose mothers were drinking alcohol during pregnancy. There are several problematic areas in the development of these children, for example growth deficit, retardation of the psychomotor development (especially in speech, gross motor skills and social behaviour), attachment disorders and eating disorders.
