[cze][eng] Tématem práce je historický výskyt velkých šelem na území Českomoravské vrchoviny, východních Čech a severní Moravy. Jedná se o rešeršní práci, jež obsahuje pět klíčových oddílů. První z nich se zabývá vývojem krajiny, další čtyři se věnují příslušným druhům šelem. Jmenovitě medvědu hnědému (Ursus arctos), vlku obecnému (Canis lupus), rysu ostrovidovi (Lynx lynx) a kočce divoké (Felis silvestris). Závěry vyvozené ze získaných dat ukazují na prokazatelný výskyt od šestnáctého do počátku devatenáctého století. This is a research work which contains five key sections. The first one deals with the development of the landscape, the ensuing sectors are dedicated to the respective species of carnivores. Namely, the brown bear (Ursus arctos), the grey wolf (Canis lupus), the lynx (Lynx lynx) and the wild cat (Felis silvestris). The conclusions drawn from the data obtained indicate proved presence from the sixteenth to the early nineteenth century.
