Autor: Hana Obrová1 Vedoucí diplomové práce: Josef Malý1 1 Katedra sociální a klinické farmacie, Univerzita Karlova v Praze, Farmaceutická fakulta v Hradci Králové Úvod: Samoléčení by mělo být součástí zdravotního uvědomění každého z nás. V České republice se stále rozšiřuje sortiment OTC a doplňků stravy, což s sebou kromě výhod přináší i rizika. Cíl práce: Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jaké jsou současné názory, postoje, informovanost a znalosti českých pacientů, kteří přicházejí do kontaktu s OTC. Metodika: Sběr dat byl realizován v Nemocnici ve Svitavách a na Oddělení pracovního lékařství ve Svitavách. Šetření proběhlo v dubnu a v červenci roku 2013 formou řízeného rozhovoru s pacienty těchto zařízení. Data byla následně analyzována a popsána frekvenční analýzou v programu Microsoft Excel 2007. Výsledky: Do hodnocení byly zařazeny odpovědi od 169 pacientů (44,0 % žen a 56,0 % mužů). Průměrný věk byl 50 let. 54,0 % pacientů dávalo samoléčení přednost před návštěvou lékaře. 85,0 % pacientů za poslední rok užilo aspoň jedno OTC. 77,0 % pacientů souhlasilo s tvrzením, že i samoléčení má určitá rizika. The assortment of OTC drugs and dietary supplements is still being spread in the Czech Republic. It carries benefits and risks. Objectives: The aim of the study was to investigate current opinions, attitudes and knowledge of patients from the Czech Republic about OTC drugs. Methods: The data were collected at the hospital in Svitavy and at the Department of occupational medicine in Svitavy. The interviews were performed in April and July 2013. The data were analysed and described by means of the frequency analysis in Microsoft Excel 2007. Results: The answers were obtained from 169 respondents (44,0 % women and 56,0 % men).
