Diplomová práce "Porovnání pastorační a charitativní péče o seniory v pražské arcidiecézi" zkoumá vzájemný vztah pastorační a charitativní péče o seniory a úroveň nabízených služeb v pražské arcidiecézi. Klade si otázku, co to znamená být seniorem v současném světě, věnuje se problematice stárnutí a stáří a vnímání těchto pojmů v celospolečenském kontextu. Zamýšlí se nad otázkou důstojnosti starého člověka a jeho specifických psychologických a duchovních potřeb. Ve druhé části se pak práce zabývá specifiky charitativní a pastorační péče a charakterizuje jednotlivé druhy nabízených služeb. Poslední, empirická část obsahuje metodiku, interpretaci a zhodnocení realizovaného terénního výzkumu mezi charitativními organizacemi a farnostmi. V samém závěru autor shrnuje poznatky všech jednotlivých částí. It seeks to define the meaning of being old in the 21st century, deals with the questions of ageing and old age and the perception of these phenomenons in the broad social context. The thesis underlines the dignity of old men as well as their specific psychological and spiritual needs. The second part of the paper inquires into the principles of the charitable and pastoral care and it tries to sort out the accessible services. The last, empirical part contains the methodology and interpretation of the research among the charitable and pastoral institutions and parishes.
