David Daneš Inkonzistence sociálního statusu v ČR: Co ukazuje první dekáda 21. století? Abstrakt Předkládaná práce se zabývá multidimenzionálním pojetím sociálního statusu a především jevem nevyrovnaného umístění jedince na několika stratifikačních škálách - inkonzistencí sociálního statusu. Poskytuje ucelený přehled vývoje použití tohoto konceptu v zahraniční a následně i v české sociologii na pozadí výkladu klasických teoretických výcho- disek a přístupů k sociální stratifikaci jako takové. Následně předkládá autor vlastní analýzu dat z cyklu šetření ISSP, ve které zpřesňuje poznání výzkumem již popsaného časového ob- dobí a také popisuje vývoj základních metrik inkonzistence statusu v dalších více než deseti letech. Analýza vycházející z operacionalizace etablované v české sociologii ukázala, že trend stoupající konzistence statusu popsaný oběma skupinami českých autorů, které se tématem v devadesátých letech zabývaly, dále nepokračuje. Dokonce se míra konzistence statusu ani nedrží na dosažené úrovni. Jsou zde patrné dva výrazné propady v období na konci devadesá- tých let a kolem roku 2009, což jsou doby významného poklesu výkonnosti národní ekonomi- ky (HDP) - vztah obou veličin je testován. Dále se autor zabývá širším pojetím konzistence statusu zkoumajícím vztah objektivního statusu k subjektivnímu.... David Daneš Social Status Inconsistency in the Czech Republic: What does the first decade of 21st century suggest? Abstract This thesis deals with the multidimensional concept of social status and mainly with the phe- nomenon of unbalanced position at several stratification scales - social status inconsistency. The work provides a comprehensive overview of the use of this concept in foreign and subse- quently in the Czech sociology with background of interpretation of classical theoretical con- cepts and approaches to social stratification as such. Then the author's own analysis of data from the ISSP surveys is presented. Author refines existing research's results and also de- scribes the progress of the core metrics of status inconsistency in more than a decade, which for this purpose so far not been analyzed. Analysis based on the operationalisation established in the Czech sociology showed that rising trend of status consistency described by Czech au- thors in the nineties does not continue. Even the degrees of status consistency doesn't keep that level. There are two significant declines during the late nineties and around 2009, which are also decline in performance of the national economy (GDP) - the relationship of the two variables being tested.
