(abstrakt) Tématem této diplomové práce je německá válečná propaganda v období druhé světové války, tedy od 1. září 1939 do května 1945, kdy došlo k porážce nacistického režimu spojeneckými vojsky. Práce je sestavena z několika částí - z definice pojmu propaganda, jejího stručného historického vývoje do 20. století a nástupu moderní propagandy, nacistické propagandy do roku 1939 (s patřičným zaměřením na zlomové okamžiky), z propagandy před válkou a v jejích prvních letech a její podoby po tom, co začala být zřejmá porážka. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje také na dvě ústřední postavy německé válečné propagandy - Adolfa Hitlera a říšského ministra propagandy, doktora Josepha Geobbelse a snaží se zhodnotit jejich vliv a roli na vytváření obrazu vlastní armády a nepřítele. The topic of this thesis is a German war propaganda during the Second World War, that is from 1st of September 1939 to May 1945, when the Nazi regime was defeated by allied troops. The work is composed of several parts - the definition of propaganda, its brief historical development to 20th century and the advent of modern propaganda and Nazi propaganda until 1939 (with focus on turning points), the propaganda before the war and in its early years and propaganda appearance after defeat became apparent. The thesis also focuses on two central figures of the German war propaganda - Adolf Hitler and the Reich Minister of Propaganda, Dr. Joseph Geobbelse and is trying to assess their impact and role in creating an image of their own army and the enemy.
