Projekt rieši prestupný terminál vo Dvore Králové. Riešené územie je súčasťou brownfieldu v južnej časti mesta, na mieste železničnej vlečky z 19. storočia. Východiskom pre riešenie projektu je poňatie terminálu ako živého verejného priestoru. Terminál znamená pohyb. Cestujúci sú v pohybe. Avšak v momente, kedy je tento účel naplnený, zostáva miesto prázdne. Cieľom je vytvoriť verejný priestor – centrum stretávania a trávenia času pre obyvateľov svojho mesta. Urbanistické riešenie rešpektuje danosti územia a vychádza z pôvodného umiestnenia vlečky. Hmota reaguje na nestabilizované plochy v okolí tým, že je situovaná po obvode a vytvára vlastný vnútorný priestor. Budova má výrazný lineárne horizontálny charakter, ktorý je narušený hustým členením stĺpmi a na fasáde vertikálnymi drevenými lamelami, ktoré tvoria čiastočné tienenie interiéru budovy. Nosnú konštrukciu budovy tvorí železobetónový skelet založený na základovom rošte. Project focuses on terminal in Dvůr Králové. Addressed area is part of brownfield in southern part of the city, located on place of railroad track from 19th century. Projekt is based on understanding the terminal as a living public space. Terminal means movement. Passenger are moving. However, when this purpose is fullfiled, the place stays empty. The aim of the project is to create public space – centrum of meeting and time spendinf for citizens. Urbanistic solution respects the qualities of the space and uses the original placement of railrioad track. Volume reacts to unstebilized spaces around by being circular and creating its own inner space. Building has significant lienar horizontal character, which is being disturbed by dense ammount of pillars and wooden lamellas on facade. Those provide partial shading of the interior. Building structure is based on reinforced concrete skeleton.
