Práce se zaměřuje na možnosti výuky cizích jazyků s využitím cizojazyčných uměleckých textů tzv. "malých forem". Zjišťuje, do jaké míry lze na jejich základě vyučovací hodinu postavit tak, aby studenti byli schopni s jazykově náročnými originálními texty pracovat a porozumět jim, ale aby navíc byla hodina přínosná i z hlediska rozvíjení řečových dovedností a mezipředmětových vztahů. Byly vybrány dva texty, které je možné pro tyto účely využít. Jde o povídky Vladimíra Nabokova s názvy Vánoční povídka (Рождественский рассказ) a Vánoce (Рождество) spadající do žánru vánočních povídek (рождественских рассказов). Práce má teoreticko-praktický charakter. Na základě kritického rozboru textů a studia odborné literatury byla pro práci se studenty zvolena povídka Vánoce, byly vytvořeny plány vyučovacích hodin a pracovní listy, podle nichž byly následně hodiny skutečně vedeny a uzavřeny reflexí studentů i autorky práce, která hodinu vedla. The work focuses on the teaching of foreign languages using the literary texts of "small forms" in foreign language. It discovers to which extent such texts can be used to build a lesson so that students are able to work with original texts and understand them, and moreover so that this lesson was also effective in terms of developing language skills and interdisciplinary relationships. The texts for a lesson were selected from the genre of Christmas stories (рождественских рассказов), to be exact - two short stories by Vladimir Nabokov Christmas Story (Рождественский рассказ) and Christmas (Рождество). The work is both theoretical and practical. Based on some critical analysis of texts and research of thematic literature only one of the two stories - Christmas - was chosen for the further work. The corresponding lesson plans and worksheets were created, according to which the real lessons have been held and the students' reflections taken into consideration.
