Tematicky se diplomová práce soustředí na komparaci různých podob fašistické ideologie v teoretických spisech členů Britské unie fašistů a NSDAP. Cílem práce je analyzovat revoluční vizi společnosti v dílech jednotlivých autorů a poukázat na různá pojetí projektu "nového člověka", koncepce státu a představ národa. Práce výrazně staví na současných teoretických přístupech ke studiu fašismu, jmenovitě na tzv. "novém konsenzu", jenž se prosadil zejména u anglosaských autorů. Využívá komparativních modelů fašismu formulovaných Stanleym Paynem, Rogerem Griffinem a Rogerem Eatwellem. The goal is to analyze a revolutionary vision of society in works of various authors and to show the differences in understanding of its key concepts - the project of "new man", distinct state construction and various meanings of the nation. The analysis draws on theoretical approaches to study of fascism, namely on so called "new consensus", which has gained a widespread popularity in Anglophone studies over past two decades. The comparative models employed include predominantly those of Stanley Payne, Roger Griffin and Roger Eatwell.
