Abstrakt: A new method of the identification critical speeds out of noisy measurements of rotor responses to an unknown unbalance is described. The identification procedure is based on the fitting experimental data by a response of a Single-Imput Single-Output **em. The method yields natural frequencies with dampings of the rotor out of data measured at a certain point of a machine. The result may serve to estimating planes of modal components of an unbalance.
