Diplomová práce analyzuje Polytematický strukturovaný heslář (PSH) a Předmětová hesla Kongresové knihovny (LCSH) v kontextu vybraných trendů ve vývoji systémů organizace znalostí. Za tímto účelem jsou nejprve představeny systémy organizace znalostí (KOS), jejich taxonomie a návrh způsobu jejich hodnocení. Dále je charakterizován World Wide Web v kontextu organizace znalostí se zaměřením na webovou éru KOS. Třetí kapitola se věnuje vybraným trendům ve vývoji KOS, konkrétně se věnuje interoperabilitě KOS a aplikaci webových technologií. Ve čtvrté kapitole jsou na základě navrženého způsobu hodnocení KOS popsány dva tradiční zástupci KOS, tedy PSH a LCSH. Poslední kapitola se zaměřuje na analýzu vybraných trendů ve vývoji KOS v kontextu PSH a LCSH. Analýza představuje detailnější pohled na převod PSH a LCSH do datového modelu SKOS, který je společný oběma systémům, stejně jako uvádí příklady interoperability těchto systémů. This Master thesis analyses Polythematic Structured Subject Heading System (PSH) and Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH) in the context of trends in Knowledge Organization Systems (KOS). Therefore KOS are described, as well as a taxonomy of KOS and dimensions of their evaluation. Furthermore World Wide Web is presented in the context of knowledge organization, with a focus on KOS web era. Third chapter is dedicated to chosen trends in KOS development, specifically it deals with KOS interoperability and application of web technologies. Then PSH and LCSH are described. Description is based on the model for KOS evaluation suggested in the first chapter. Lastly, the analysis of chosen trends in KOS development in the context of PSH and LCSH is presented. The analysis is a detailed look at PSH and LCSH conversion into Simple Knowledge Organization System (SKOS) and it also shows examples of PSH and LCSH interoperability.
