Josef Macek a programové debaty v Československé sociálně demokratické straně dělnické (ČSDSD) v letech 1924-1938. Předmětem práce je programová debata v Československé sociálně demokratické straně dělnické (ČSDSD) v letech 1924-1938. Tato debata je analyzována trojím způsobem: Nejprve je podán její chronologický vývoj a poukázáno na souvislosti mezi různými tématy, o nichž se diskutovalo. V druhé části jsou rozebírány strukturální rysy debaty (vnější kontext, institucionální prostředí, sociální profil diskutujících, strukturální konfliktní linie typu generačního štěpení nebo vztahu mezi teoretiky a praktiky apod.). Poslední část je věnována analýze obsahových rozdílů mezi debatujícími v několika vybraných otázkách (založení socialismu, role inteligence v socialistické straně, vztah ke státu, evoluční cesta k socialismu). Jako základní osa debaty je chápán marxismus. Ve vztahu k němu se v práci hovoří o třech vnitrostranických proudech, které se opakovaně střetávaly a které se lišily nejen v postoji k marxismu jako takovému nebo k formám řešení, jež z něho vyplývaly, ale také svou generační příslušností a svým vlivem na programový profil strany jako celku: Proud levicový, který byl generačně nejmladší, se o marxismus opíral s relativně největší mírou důslednosti a v marxistických intencích doporučoval... This thesis deals with the programmatic debates in the Czechoslovak Social Democratic Party (ČSDSD) from 1924 to 1938. The debate is analyzed in three ways: Firstly, its chronological development is given same as the link between the various topics discussed. The second part researches the structural features of the debate (external context, institutional environment, social profile of discussants, the structural cleavages like generation conflict or the relationship between theorists and decison-makers etc.). In the final part the content differences among discussants are analyzed in respect to a few selected issues (the foundation of socialism, the role of intelligence in the socialist party, the relationship to the state, the evolutionary way to socialism). Marxism is understood as the primary axis of the debate . In relation to it I speak about three intraparty streams, which were repeatedly clashing and which differed not only in the approach to Marxism as such or in solution forms which resulted from it, but also in their generational affiliation and its influence on the programmatic profile of the party as a whole: The left stream, the youngest generation, was based on Marxism with the...
