Diplomová práce je zaměřena na poznání místní elitní rodiny Jadrníčkovy ve Fryštáku v 19. a první polovině 20. století. Studie sleduje jejich podnikání, soukromý život, činnost v místní samosprávě a spolcích, mezigenerační sociální mobilitu a prezentaci ekonomického a sociálního kapitálu. První část práce se věnuje historii obce Fryšták a místním hospodářským a sociálním poměrům. Druhá část sleduje zrod a vývoj firmy "Val. Jadrníčka syn", její ekonomické výkony od 80. let 19. století do roku 1948. Závěrečná část podrobně sleduje pět příslušníků různých generací rodiny Jadrníčkovy, přičemž je nejvíce analyzována jejich role v obecní samosprávě. Rodinu Jadrníčkovu lze označit za typický případ nacionálně českých moderních lokálních elit. The dissertation is focused on recognition of local elite Jadrníček family in a small town of Fryšták in the 19th and first half of 20th century. The study describes family's entrepreneurial activity, private life, activity in the local council and associations, inter-generational social mobility and presentation of family's economical and social capital. The first part describes history of a small town Fryšták and local economic and social relationships. The second part focuses beginning and progress of the enterprise "Val. Jadrníčka syn", its business results from the 1880s till 1948. The conclusion describes in detail five members of different generations in Jadrníček family whereas the family role in the local council is mostly analyzed. The Jadrníček family could be named as a typical example of Czech modern local elite.
