Práce představuje a srovnává Bergonův a Schelerův filosoficko - antropologický koncept člověka - především s ohledem k mytologičnosti chápání lidství či "typu člověk" jako (u každého z myslitelů svým způsobem) světodějné bytosti- a tyto koncepty komparuje s představou člověka vyzdviženou z románů Virginie Wolfové K majáku a Orlando, s přihlédnutím k Deníkům. This doctoral thesis introduces and contrasts Bergson's and Scheler's philosophical and anthropological concepts of man to compare them with the idea of man derived from the Virginia Woolf's novels To the Lighthouse and Orlando, and also from her books subtitled A Biography.
