Abstract: The aim of this thesis is to explore relationship between soviet state and the Russian Orthodox Church in the USSR during period of the 2nd World War, to add more, special approach of state politics towards church and its organizations. In the first part of this thesis is depicted role of the Russian Orthodox Church in fight against the fascist enemy (occupants) and examination of the Russian Orthodox Church activities during the 2nd World War. In the second part of this thesis are described basics of mutual releationships between soviet state and the church, the reason of their mutual understanding during the war. In the end of this thesis is examined new goal of statechurch politics during the period of 1943-1945, its causes and consequences.
