Práce se věnuje fenoménu tzv. breaking news v kontinuálním vysílání zpravodajských stanic. Je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Cílem teoretické části je představit specifika televizního zpravodajství a jejich proměnu se zavedením nepřetržitého vysílání. V této souvislosti budou v kontextu české mediální praxe detailně popsány technické prostředky, prostřednictvím nichž jediná celoplošná tuzemská zpravodajská stanice nabízí divákům zprávy v přímém přenosu, včetně novinek posledních let. Další poznatky získané z odborné literatury, elektronických zdrojů a prostřednictvím rozhovorů s kompetentními osobami, se budou týkat pouze ČT24. Cílem praktické části je popsat zmíněný fenomén na příkladu střelby v Uherském Brodě z února 2015. V rámci kvantitativního výzkumu bude pozorováno, jakým způsobem se ČT24 této tragické události věnovala. Hlavní pozornost bude zaměřena na kontinuální vysílání ze dne 24. 2. 2015. Cílem výzkumu je získat relevantní výsledky, z nichž bude patrné, jakým podílem byly informace o střelbě ve vysílání zastoupeny a jakým způsobem (zda šlo o živé vstupy, telefonické rozhovory apod.). V návaznosti na stanovené výzkumné otázky dojde k analýze dostupných dat a prostřednictvím grafického znázornění následně prezentována v závěrečné části práce. The main aim of the theoretical part is to describe the specifics of television news and their transformation caused by the introduction of continuous broadcast. In this context, the technical means used in Czech TV that allow the audience to watch the news live will be described in detail. The main aim of the practical part is to describe the mentioned phenomenon in connection with a specific event - the shootings in Uhersky Brod in February 2015. The main attention of the quantitative research will be focused on the continuous broadcast of CT24 on 24th February 2015 in order to obtain relevant results, which will illustrate the proportion of the information related to the shooting in the CT24 broadcast.
