Bakalářská práce „Bytový dům Brno Kopečná“ se zabývá stavbou nového bytového domu v proluce na ulici Kopečná v Brně. Hlavní myšlenkou návrhu bylo vytvoření soukromých prostor (atrií a teras), které zpříjemní bydlení v samotném centru Brna a přiblíží obyvatele bytů k přírodě. Velmi důležitým faktorem pro návrh objektu byly také výškové úrovně a půdorysný tvar sousedních budov. Navrhovaný dům plynule a citlivě navazuje na dvoupodlažní objekt s mansardovou střechou z jižní strany, a také na pětipodlažní bytový dům ze strany severní. Navrhovaný objekt má pět nadzemních a jedno podzemní podlaží. V 1PP se nachází technické zázemí, parkování vozidel a sklepní kóje, v 1NP jsou navrženy pronajímatelné prostory se zázemím, a také společné prostory k bytům. Je zde také navržena společenská místnost navazující na dvůr, kde mohou obyvatelé bytů trávit svůj volný čas. Ve 2NP až 5NP se nachází samotné byty. Hlavní vstup do objektu a vjezd pro auta je z ulice Kopečná, další soukromý vchod navazuje na ulici Studánka. Bachelor’s thesis „Residential building Brno Kopecna“ handles construction of a new residential building in a gap site in Kopecna street, Brno. Main idea of the project is creating private space (atrium and terrace), which makes the living in town centre better. More important facts were different height and shape of neighboring buildings. The new building tries to sensitively integrate into the 2 above-ground floors building with a mansard roof on the south and 5 above-ground floors residential building on the north. A draft of residential building has 5 ground floors and 1 underground floor where the cellars, technical room and parking are. In the ground floor are commercial space and space for inhabitant. There are a saloon and a courtyard for spending a free time. In the higher floors are the flats. Main entrace is from Kopecna street, a private entrance is from Studanka street.
