Souvislosti mezi osobnostními charakteristikami i copingovými strategiemi na jedné straně a psychosomatickou problematikou na straně druhé patří k tradičním oblastem zájmu řady psychologických škol i disciplín. Příspěvek je věnován jednak vztahu preference dílčích copingových strategií a subjektivně referovaných zdravotních stesků somatického i psychického rázu a jednak ověřování souvislosti těchto stestků s osobnostní typologií, vycházející z Kuhlovy teorie PSI - interakce osobnostních systémů. Tato teorie je postavena mimo jiné právě na premise, že zvládání je jednou ze základních charakteristik osobnosti, navazující typologie - na odlišném teoretickém základě - odkazuje i k historicky starším psychodynamickým typologiím, které opět umožňují formulaci řady obecných i specifických hypotéz o osobnostním kontextu psychosomatické problematiky. The relations between personality and preferred coping strategies on the one hand and psychosomatical issues on the other come under traditional areas of interest in a range of psychological disciplines and schools. Our study adresses relations between partial coping strategies and subjectivelly referred health complaints in both somatical and psychical way and then verification of relations between these complaints and the typology of personality, which is based on Kuhl's PSI - theory. This theory suggests, that coping is one of the most important characteristics of one's personality and related typology (on different theoretical background) refers to older psychodynamical typologies, that enable the formulation of general and specific hypotheses about personality context of psychosomatic issues again.
