Příspěvek analyzuje rétorickou strukturu Riegrových politických projevů z let 1848-49 a 1861. Rieger používal všechny rétorické techniky, převládaly však ironie a pathos. Riegrovo řečnické nadání se opíralo o fyzické předpoklady, právnickou erudici a široký kulturní rozhled. The paper analyzes the rhetorical structure of Rieger's political speeches that he pronounced in parliaments in the years 1848-1849 and 1861, although he used all rhetorical techniques, the overall tones of his speeches were irony and pathos. His rhetorical talent raised from his physical abilites, juridical erudition and general culture.
