Bakalářská práce popisuje termodynamické oběhy čtyřdobého zážehového a vznětového motoru, Wankelova motoru a dvoudobého zážehového motoru. Na základě zjištěných informací je provedeno srovnání termické účinnosti jednotlivých motorů s čtyřdobým zážehovým motorem v T-S diagramech. Dále se zde věnuje Atkinsonovu cyklu a jeho využití v praxi. Poslední část práce se zabývá konstrukcemi variabilního kompresního poměru použitých ve vývoji moderních motorů. The bachelor thesis describes the thermodynamic cycles of four-stroke spark ignition (SI) and compression ignition (CI) engine, Wankel engine and two-stroke spark ignition (SI) engine. Based on the information is compared with thermal efficiency of each engines with four-stroke spark ignition engine in the T-S diagrams. There were also dedicated to Atkinson cycle and its use in practice. The last part deals with the construction of a variable compression ratio used in the development of modern engines.
