Masking oligosaccharide sequences can assist transformed cells to escape immune surveillance. N-acetyl-glucosamine coated dendrimers have binding affinity for NKR-P1 receptor and can also modify cancer cell glycosylation profile. Effects of treatment on immune cell subpopulations were analyzed in blood, lymphoid tissues and organs, and inside tumor in B16F10 melanoma bearing mice. Treatment enhanced tumor cell immunogenicity, and induced maturation,differentiation and homing of cytotoxic cells to tumor microenvironment. Nádory změněné (maskované) oligosacharidové sekvence mohou napomáhat úniku transformovaných buněk z imunitního dohledu. Dendriméry s navázaným N-acetyl-glukosaminem, mající vazebnou schopnost pro NKR-P1 receptory, umožňují modifikovat glykosylační profil buněk. Tyto účinky lze pozorovat na imunitních buňkách získaných z krve, lymfoidních tkání a orgánů, a rovněž na nádorech u B16F10 melonom nesoucích jedinců. Opracování nádorových buněk dendriméry zvyšuje buněčnou imunogeneicitu, indukuje maturaci, diferenciaci a migraci cytotoxických buněk v nádorové mikroprostředí.
