Cílem této práce je analýza dopadů pořádání sportovní akce IIHF Mistrovství světa v ledním hokeji na příkladu zemí Švédska, Finska a Slovenska. První část práce je věnována sportovnímu cestovnímu ruchu, sportovním eventům a jejich ekonomickým a neekonomickým dopadům. Druhá část této práce obsahuje analýzu a porovnání dopadů pořádání sportovní akce Mistrovství světa v ledním hokeji v letech 2011 až 2013 na příkladu Švédska, Finska a Slovenska. Po uskutečnění analýzy dopadů dospěla práce k závěru, že z porovnávaných zemí nejlépe potenciál sportovní akce využilo Slovensko. The aim of this thesis is the impact analysis of hosting the Ice Hockey World Championship using the examples of Sweden, Finland and Slovakia. The first part of this thesis is about sport tourism, sport events and their economic and non-economic impacts. The second part of this thesis analyse the impacts of hosting the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in years 2011, 2012 and 2013 on the examples of Sweden, Finland and Slovakia. Having analysed and compared the impacts of the event, the thesis concludes that for Slovakia was hosting the most profitable of the comparing countries.
