Bakalářská práce zkoumá postavení Austrálie ve světové ekonomice. Tento cíl je dosažen pomocí vybraných makroekonomických ukazatelů a charakterizováním zahraničního obchodu a přímých zahraničních investic. Práce je strukturovaná do tří kapitol. Cílem první kapitoly je zjistit, zda nedošlo v ekonomice během jejího vývoje k určitým změnám a porovnat makroekonomické ukazatele s dalšími zeměmi. Cílem druhé kapitoly je specifikovat zahraniční obchod se zbožím a službami a přímé zahraniční investice. Zahraniční obchod je členěn na teritoriální a komoditní strukturu. V rámci přímých zahraničních investic se řeší příliv i odliv. Třetí kapitola se zabývá bilaterálními a multilaterálními dohodami a jejím cílem je prozkoumat nejdůležitější obchodní partnery Austrálie v rámci těchto dohod. The bachelor thesis examines the position of the Australian economy in the world. This target is accomplished by using selected macroeconomic indicators and by characterizing the international trade and foreign direct investments. The thesis is structured into three chapters. The first chapter describes changes in the Australian economy and compares the macroeconomic indicators with other countries. The second chapter specifies the international trade in goods and services and foreign direct investments. The international trade is divided into territorial and commodity structure and the foreign direct investments are specified by inflow and outflow. The last chapter focuses on bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements and mentions the Australian most important business partners.
