Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl zmapovat vývoj platební bilance Irska a následně analyzovat tvar její vnější ekonomické rovnováhy v letech 1998-2013. V teoretické části práce nejprve charakterizuji pojem platební bilance, její strukturu a popíši tvar vnější ekonomické rovnováhy, jež poskytnou potřebný základ pro praktickou část, rozdělenou do dvou dílčích částí. V té první se budu zabývat analýzou jednotlivých položek platební bilance Irska v letech 1998-2013, abych následně v té druhé zanalyzovala prostřednictvím významných sald PB tvar jeho vnější ekonomické rovnováhy v kontextu dění ve světové ekonomice. This bachelor thesis aims to map the development of the balance of payments of Ireland, and then analyse the shape of its external economic balance during 1998-2013. In theoretical part I will initially describe the concept and structure of the balance of payments, then I will characterize the shape of the external economic balance to lay down the foundation for the practical part of this thesis, which is divided into two parts. The first part will be devoted to the analysis of individual components of the balance of payments of Ireland during 1998-2013, followed by the second part where I analyse the shape of its external economic balance through the significant balances of BoP in the context of world economy.
