Cílem bakalářské práce je vyhodnotit finanční stav společnosti AVG Technologies CZ, s.r.o. a následně navrhnout finanční strategii firmy do budoucích let. Vyhodnocení finančního stavu je vypracované pomocí nástroje finanční analýzy za období roku 2009 do roku 2013. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část je zaměřena na informační prameny vstupující do finanční analýzy, na definování jednotlivých metod, pramenů a ukazatelů finanční analýzy. V praktické části je nejdříve představena společnost AVG Technologies CZ, s.r.o., poté je provedena finanční analýza společnosti, ke které byly využity veřejné účetní závěrky. Dále je společnost porovnána se šesti největšími konkurenty ve stejném odvětví a podrobena bankrotním a bonitním modelům. V závěru bakalářské práce jsou shrnuty dosažené výsledky finanční analýzy a navrhnuta strategie do budoucích let, jež by mohla vylepšit finanční situaci společnosti. Dle výstupů z finanční a strategické analýzy lze posoudit výborný finanční stav společnosti, který odpovídá jednomu z nejdůležitějších poskytovatelů bezpečnostních softwarů. The thesis aims to provide a complex financial analysis overview of the Czech software company AVG Technologies CZ, Ltd along with the financial strategy predictions applicable in the upcoming years. The evaluation of the company's financial condition is conducted using financial analysis instruments within 2008 -- 2013 period. The thesis is split into theoretical and research part. The theoretical part focuses on the methodology of the financial analysis, mainly the methodology definition, information streams and its major indicators.The research part of the paper, after a brief overview of the company's current status, applies the financial methodology previously defined in the theoretical part using publicly available financial statements of AVG Technologies CZ, Ltd. Taking the analysis outcome into consideration, the company's position is evaluated and the results are used to compare AVG Technologies CZ with the closest competition and is lately applied in bankruptcy-estimation & solvency models. Furthermore, such conclusions are used as a baseline for a strategic draft aimed at improving company's financial situation.Based on the results of financial and strategic analysis, AVG Technologies CZ can be considered a healthy and economically strong entity, which is expected from one of the major providers in software security industry.
