Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou vývoje trhu práce v Moravskoslezském kraji v letech 2001 -- 2013. Teoretická část je zaměřena na základní aspekty ovlivňující regionální rozdíly a příčiny regionálních rozdílů v České republice s přímým vlivem na trh práce. Analytická část práce zkoumá vývoj zaměstnanosti a nezaměstnanosti v Moravskoslezském kraji a významné faktory, které tento vývoj v kraji ovlivnily, zejména průmyslová restrukturalizace, změna struktury obyvatelstva a důchodové a sociální reformy. Důraz je zaměřen na změny na lokálním trhu práce města Havířov od samotného vzniku města až po současnost. S ohledem na analýzu trhu práce a demografickou strukturu jsou závěrem navržena opatření vedoucí k případnému snížení vysoké nezaměstnanosti v Moravskoslezském kraji. The main focus of this thesis is the analysis of the development of labor market in the Moravia-Silesian region of the Czech Republic in between 2001 and 2013. The theoretical introduction concentrates on aspects that have influence on the differences between regions and the reasons of regional differences in the Czech Republic specifically focusing on those with direct influence on the labor market. The analysis examines the development of employment and unemployment in the mentioned region and time period. It analyzes factors that influenced this development, especially the industrial restructuralization, change of population structure and the social and pension reforms. Detailed attention is given to changes of local labor market of Havířov city, from the very foundation of the city till present time. Using a detailed labor market and demographic structure analysis, conclusions are made that may lead to potential reduction of the high unemployment rate in the Moravia-Silesian region.
