Práce se krátce zabývá kulturním cestovním ruchem, cestovním ruchem České republiky a postavením Královéhradeckého kraje. Zaměřuje se na atraktivity turistické oblasti Hradecko s důrazem na zámek Hrádek u Nechanic (historie, kulturní akce, propagace, návštěvnost, komerční aktivity). Jádrem práce jsou výsledky dotazníkového šetření mezi návštěvníky zámku, jež zjišťovalo, odkud jej znají, motiv jejich cesty, jaké služby využívají zde i v oblasti, demografický profil návštěvníků atd. Cílem práce bylo identifikovat motivace a potřeby návštěvníků, vytvořit jejich charakteristiku a posoudit vliv zámku na cestovní ruch oblasti. Na závěr je uvedeno několik doporučení na zlepšení poskytovaných služeb a zvýšení atraktivity. The thesis deals briefly with cultural tourism, tourism in the Czech Republic and characteristic of Hradec Králové region. Further, it is focused on attractivities of the tourist region Hradecko with emphasis on the Hrádek u Nechanic Castle (history, cultural events, promotion, visit rate, commercial activities). The core of the thesis are the results of a survey designed to explore the source of information about the castle, visitors' motives, the services they consume at the spot and in the tourist region, visitors' demographic profile etc. The aim was to identify the visitors' motives and needs, find their characteristics and consider the influence of the castle on tourism in the region. A few recommendations on improving the services and increasing the attractivity are suggested at the end of the thesis.
