Abstrakt: A novel way of induction heating of nonmagnetic cylindrical billets is proposed and modeled. The system works with unmoving charge and rotating magnetic field produced by permanent magnets mounted along the internal perimeter of the rotor. The model is solved numerically by own code Agros2d based on the finite element method of higher order of accuracy.
