Subject for the following work provided the idea of uses cryptogram in music. There are many cryptograms but we will only deal with one and most important, the shape of which gave the name completer of the Baroque era. J. S. Bach was organist and he was and still is an inspiration especially for organists. We deal with the only the compositions for organ which use his cryptogram.
Based on the analysis of several works we want to point out the different ways of working with the same theme and the distinctive style of each composer. We focus on the most famous authors and their works created on the theme B-A-C-H from the Romantic period, i.e. from the rediscovery of Baroque genius.
A part of the work is a complete list of compositions on this theme, which states K. Beckmanns the publication Repertorium Orgelmusik. Its dimension it would certainly be surprising for each.
