Základem predikce je model vycházející z metodiky vyvinuté na Michiganské univerzitě (WDI) a dále rozpracované CERGE-EI. Model kombinuje řadu ekonometrických metod a umožňuje využít predikce jiných institucí jako vstupy. Výstupy modelu pak mohou být dále modifikovány s přihlédnutím k očekávaným změnám (změny politiky, exogenní šoky), které se nepromítly do vstupních dat. Our forecasts start with an econometric model developed at Michigan University (WDI) and further improved at CERGE-EI. The model combines a whole range of econometric techniques; it can also use forecasts of other institutions as inputs. The results can be further modified by taking into account expected factors (policy changes, exogenous shocks) that might not have been reflected in the input data.
