Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na analýzu nástroje environmentálního auditu v ekonomických souvislostech. Cílem je především posouzení efektivnosti tohoto nástroje pro podnikatele. V první fázi je práce orientována na samotné pojetí a vymezení ekologického auditu a jeho historické ukotvení. Dále práce analyzuje přínosy a náklady ze zavedení environmentálního manažerského systému, který je předpokladem pro nastavení auditů dle ISO 14001 a EMAS. Praktická část potom obsahuje dvě případové studie s konkrétními příklady auditů na základě ISO certifikace. This thesis focuses on the analysis of environmental audit instruments in economic terms. It is primarily aimed at assessing the effectiveness of this tool for entrepreneurs. The first stage of work is focused on the concept and definition of environmental audit and its history. This study then reports an analysis of benefits and costs of the environmental management system which is a prerequisite for setting auditing ISO 14001 and EMAS. The practical part of this thesis contains two case studies of specific examples of audits based on ISO certification.
