Práce se zaměřuje na problematiku kontejnerové přepravy zboží mezi Asií a Evropou. První část se zabývá charakteristikou a smluvním zajištěním mezinárodní kontejnerové přepravy a jednotlivými dopravními obory. Druhá část se soustředí na současnou ekonomickou situaci evropského a asijského kontinentu, nejvýznamnější námořní přístavy a vzájemný obchod. Dále jsou zde analyzovány možnosti přepravy zboží z Asie do Evropy a současné trendy v kontejnerové přepravě. The thesis focuses on the problems of the international container transport between Asia and Europe. The first chapter looks into the characteristic and legislation of the international container transport and different branches of transportation. The second chapter is devoted to contemporary economic situation on the European and Asian continent, to the most important maritime ports and international trade between these two continents. There ale also analysed the possibilities of the merchandise transport from Asia to Europe and the new trends in container transportation.
