Práce se zabývá tématem zjišťování a měření efektů Business Intelligence(BI). Cílem práce je vytvořit přehledy potenciálních efektů BI pro jednotlivé aplikační oblasti, při respektování charakteru efektů tak, aby mohl následně posloužit dodavateli BI, jako podklad při komunikaci s potenciálními zákazníky. Postupně budou vymezeny efekty BI vůči obecným informatickým efektům. Dále budou představeny možnosti klasifikace efektů, které využijeme při sestavování přehledu efektů BI. Přiblížíme reálnou situaci na trhu s ohledem na efekty BI. Bude navržena vhodná forma prezentace identifikovaných efektů, při respektování jejich charakteristických vlastností. Po výběru aplikačních oblastí, přejdeme k zjišťování a třídění efektů pro tyto oblasti. Následně jsou k efektům dle možností připojeny další doplňující informace. Těmito informacemi jsou předpoklad pro vznik efektu, popis způsobu dosažení efektu, návrh na kvantifikaci efektu a jednotka měření, či potenciální projev s časovým odstupem. Představeny budou důvody, možnosti a omezení měření efektů BI. Vlastním řešením práce je vytvoření přehledu potenciálních efektů BI při respektování: charakteristických vlastností efektů, aplikačních oblastí BI a analytických či ostatních možností aplikací BI. This thesis deals with recognition and measurement of Business Intelligence(BI) effects. The aim of this thesis is to create tables for potential effects in the variety of application areas. Tables will respect character of effects in order to serve BI vendor as a basis of marketing communication. BI effects and informatics effects will be defined. Followed by an introduction to possible ways of classification. BI market condition considering effects will be mentioned. After that tables will be designed. Selection of application areas, recognition and classification of effects are next steps. After these steps additional information such as assumption, description of achieving, proposal of quantification, unit or potential exteriorization of effect is filled in tables. Possibilities, limits and reasons for measuring effects will be mentioned. My contribution is creating and filling in tables of potential effects in the variety of BI application areas.
