Práce je zaměřena na zahraniční obchod Československé republiky v letech 1918-1938, zejména na československou obchodní politiku, analýzu a charakteristiku jejích jednotlivých fází. Dále práce sleduje strukturu zahraničního obchodu, velikost podílu vývozu a dovozu jednotlivých komodit ( podle bruselského názvosloví) a komparuje tyto údaje s ostatními evropskými zeměmi. Dále se práce věnuje nejvýznamnějším obchodním partnerům Československé republiky. Proč se hlavními obchodními partnery Československé republiky nestaly západní demokracie a jaké problémy přineslo partnerství s malodohodovými zeměmi? Práce analyzuje také problematiku konkurenceschopnosti československého zboží na zahraničních trzích. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the foreign trade of the Czechoslovak Republic in the years 1918-1938. Particulary Czechoslovak trade policy analysation and characterizations its individual fases. Next, the thesis makes on observation on the structure of foreign trade, the share size of import and export of each product (according to Brusel's nomenclature) and compares this data with other European countries. Furthermore this thesis concentrates on the most significant trade partners of the Czechoslovak Republic. Why did not major Czechoslovak partners become the eastern democracies and what problems did the little agreement's countries bring? This thesis analyzes also the problematic of the competitive ability of the Czechoslovak products on the foreign market.
