Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá rolí turistických centrál v cestovním ruchu a jejich významem v propagaci jednotlivých destinací. Konkrétně se práce věnuje analýze činnosti švýcarské centrály cestovního ruchu. Ve své teoretické části se práce zaměřuje na rozlišení pojmů národní organizace cestovního ruchu a národní správa cestovního ruchu a zkoumá úlohu těchto orgánů v působení na cestovní ruch destinace. V další části práce je nastíněn charakter a vývoj švýcarského cestovního ruchu. Zbylé dvě kapitoly se konkrétně věnují švýcarské centrále cestovního ruchu. Nastiňují její fungování a analyzují činnosti, kterým se věnuje s přihlédnutím zejména k využívaným marketingovým nástrojům. Cílem práce je zjistit na jaké zdrojové trhy se švýcarská centrála cestovního ruchu zaměřuje a jaké marketingové prostředky k tomu využívá. This bachelor thesis deals with the role of national tourism organisations in tourism industry and their importance in promoting individual destinations. Specifically, the work deals with the analysis of the central activities of Swiss Tourism Organisation. In its theoretical part, the work focuses on the distinction between the terms of national tourism organisation and the national tourism administration and examines the role of these institutions in effect on tourism destinations. Next chapter outlines the nature and development of swiss tourism industry. The remaining two chapters are specifically devoted to the Swiss Tourism Organisation. These chapters analyze activities of Swiss Tourism Organisation and its application of marketing tools. The aim of this thesis is to find out on which markets is Swiss Tourism Organisation focusing and which marketing tools are used for promoting destination Switzerland.
